Aidanna is an AI-powered educational platform that teaches biochemistry through interactive storytelling. The Service uses Google's Gemini API to generate personalized learning content and experiences.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Providing accurate and complete information during registration

4. Subscription and Payment

Aidanna offers both free and paid subscription plans:

  • Free Plan: Access to basic features with usage limitations
  • Paid Plans: Enhanced features, unlimited access, and priority support

Payment terms:

  • Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis (monthly)
  • We do not charge your payment method automatically
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses Google's Gemini API to generate educational content:

  • Content is generated by AI and may occasionally contain inaccuracies
  • We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of AI-generated content
  • Users should verify critical information with authoritative sources
  • The Service is intended as a supplementary learning tool, not a replacement for formal education

6. Data Usage and Google API

For Paid Subscribers: Your data is processed using Google's paid API services. Under Google's terms for paid API usage, your content is not used to train or improve Google's models or products.

For Free Users: Content may be processed through standard API endpoints subject to Google's standard terms of service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Share your account with others
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Aidanna and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
  • AI-generated content is accurate or complete

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIDANNA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms of Service
  • Is harmful to other users or the Service
  • Violates applicable laws or regulations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
